Pupillo Limited Warranty
Warranty coverage for the Pupillo device and supplied hardware.
Effective date: Date of purchase shown on the original invoice.
1. Warranty period
Pupillo is covered by a limited hardware warranty for 12 months from the invoice date for the original purchaser.
2. What is covered
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal use in accordance with the supplied instructions, including failure of the main electronic module, LED system, controls or supplied mounting hardware caused by a manufacturing defect.
3. Our remedy
After inspection and validation of an eligible claim, Pupillo may, at its discretion, repair the device, replace the defective component, replace the device with the same or a functionally equivalent unit, or refund the depreciated purchase value where repair or replacement is not reasonably available. Repaired or replacement items remain covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
4. What is not covered
- No warranty applies if the device has been opened, tampered with, modified or disassembled.
- No warranty applies if there is any resoldering, solder rework or attempted repair by an unauthorised person.
- No warranty applies if there is any attempt to reverse engineer, copy, probe, alter or bypass the device hardware, firmware, circuitry or software.
- No warranty applies in cases of water, liquid, moisture or condensation damage.
- Damage caused by dropping, impact, crushing, excessive force, fire, heat, incorrect storage or transport.
- Misuse, negligence, use outside the approved clinical workflow, or failure to follow the instructions for use.
- Use with unapproved chargers, power supplies, accessories, mounts or replacement parts.
- Normal cosmetic wear, scratches, discoloration, consumable parts or gradual battery-capacity reduction from ordinary use.
- Damage caused by power surges, incorrect voltage, electrical faults or charging-system misuse.
- Loss, theft, deliberate damage, or damage caused by third-party equipment.
- Products with an altered, removed or unreadable serial number or proof-of-purchase details.
5. Making a warranty claim
Email order@dilatethepupil.com or WhatsApp +91 77449 38889 with the invoice, serial number, description of the fault, photographs or video, and contact details. Do not ship the device until return instructions and an authorization reference have been provided.
6. Inspection and shipping
The device may be inspected before a claim is accepted. If the issue is covered, reasonable return shipping may be reimbursed or arranged. If inspection shows excluded damage or no manufacturing defect, diagnosis, repair and shipping charges may be quoted before work begins.
7. Clinical and service limitations
This warranty applies to the hardware only. It does not guarantee a particular clinical result, pupil diameter, duration of dilation or surgical outcome. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
